Recently completed a 25 year career in town planning within a number of local authorities across the country. His final post was as Head of Planning Services in Peterborough managing a team of about 60 people. A member of the Royal Town Planning Institute Alan has recently completed a Masters degree in Public Service Management. Currently he is self employed in management and town planning.  He has worked for charities as a volunteer at home and abroad. Elected Chairman in November 2005.

Heather Corbishley - Director & Trustee

Currently working as Organiser of a local volunteer Centre. Heather's interest in this area of work goes back many years to a time when she worked for Cambridgeshire Health Authority and Huntingdonshire Primary Care Trust where her responsibilities included commissioning and developing substance misuse services, including Dialdruglink. On the Board, Heather takes a particular interest in quality issues.

David Snodgrass - Director & Trustee

David was appointed a director and trustee in January 2007. David's background is in financial management and he has taken on a treasurer role within the organisation.He trained and qualified as an accountant with Deloitte & Touche, where he specialised in working with owner managed businesses, law firms and charitable organisations.In September 2000 he joined Greenwoods Solicitors as finance manager, where he has responsibility for measuring and managing financial performance, in line with the firm's strategic objectives.

Ian Gilbert - Director & Trustee

Ian has over 30 years experience in a sales & marketing capacity and runs, in partnership with others, three companies in UK and abroad. Currently studying a Psychology degree with the OU and has just been certified as a Counsellor. He is particularly interested in bringing drug abuse awareness to commercial enterprise and to the less informed area's of the community, in addition to aiding the commercial development of the trusts knowledge in substance abuse.

Michael Thelwall - Director & Trustee

Michael has been working for charities since leaving University in 2004. He is a skilled fundraiser and has worked for Kidney Research UK, the National Trust and The Junction in Cambridge. He has a wide experience of many types of fundraising and has taken special interest in fundraising on behalf of Dialdruglink
