In 2008/09 Dialdruglink will focus on the delivery of quality services to Young People and their Families and Carers who have issues with drug misuse. The Dialdruglink Young People Team will work with young people assessing and offering appropriate treatment, advice and support.  The team will offer advice information and support to the parents and carers of young people with drug misuse problems and young people living in drug misusing families.  We will continue to provide consultancy and training to professionals working with Young People and the local and business community.

Our work encompasses over the counter products, prescription medication and illegal drugs and volatile substances.

The J Paul Getty Jnr. Charitable Trust has provided funding for Dialdruglink’s new Helter Skelter Project aimed at supporting young people up to the age of 25 who are at risk of sexual exploitation.
We are now able to accept self referrals and referrals from other professionals where a young person is at risk of sexual exploitation due to substance misuse, homelessness or family breakdown.
